Beach Boys movie details

A film based on the music of The Beach Boys is said to be in the works. It will be along similar lines to the Abba music film Mama Mia, in that it will include the music of the Beach Boys but with an unrelated storyline.

Singer Mike Love says it will be a big-budget film that has been written by Erin Brokovitch author Sasannah Grant, and better, co-produced by sometimes Beach Boys drummer and full time Uncle Jesse, John Stamos.

Love has also said that he expects two of the character leads to be named “Barbara Ann” and “Rhonda” – both names of two of The Beach Boys biggest hits.
