Kate is “too thin”?

US veteran TV host Katie Couric has passed judgment on Kate Middleton’s figure, disregarding her as “too thin.”

The comments were made during a test taping of Couric’s new show, Katie, set to air on Monday, September10.

When an audience member asked Couric who her dream interviewee would be, Couric replied, “Kate Middleton, I think she needs to eat more, though because she's so thin".

Understandably, the Duchess of Cambridge was well known for dropping weight before her wedding but most see this as normal behaviour for a bride-to-be, not to mention one who will have the entire world watching her ceremony.

It’s expected that Couric’s comments will ruffle a few feathers in Buckingham Palace as the Royal family granted Couric special access to the Royal family for a recent ABC News special.
