Outkast's Andre 3000 to play Jimi Hendrix in biopic
Reports are coming in that Outkast rapper Andre 3000 has agreed to play guitar legend Jimi Hendrix in a new biopic.
The Irish Film and Television Network reports that Andre will star in All Is By My Side, a film focusing on Hendrix's time in England recording the legendary album Are You Experienced?
The film will be the first for director John Ridley, and will be filmed in Ireland.
Pre-production is reportedly underway for a shoot that will last six weeks.
