Name: The Apple Bar

Why: It's set amongst the apple orchards in Bilpin. The atmosphere is rather casual though unique and the food it amazing.

Why: The staff are great, there’s a genuine friendly and laid back vibe, they often play great reggae, and they have Scrabble and Jenga

Why: Vietnamese like no one else does it. The owner/chef was the personal chef to the Prime Minister of Vietnam

Pick of the menu: Monster sized spring rolls stuffed with mince pork and a big fat king prawn through the middle and fish sauce to dip

Name: Millone’s

Why: The menu is amazing and the biggest Gluten free range i have ever seen

Why: Great food, unpretentious and overlooks the lake.

Why: Amazing $26 buffet which showcases the best of Nepalese food – Great, intimate ambience (and it’s BYO!)

Pick of the menu: The buffet – we leave it up to the kitchen to choose our dishes for us so that they complement each other perfectly.

Occasion: Friday night – cheap, easy way to relax; chat with friends and ease into the weekend without breaking the bank
