The world may hear Adele's new album sooner than expected, with word that it will be released "imminently"
The British singer's follow-up to 2011's smash 21 has been hotly anticipated for years, but progress has been slow as she took time off first for vocal rest, and then to raise her first child.
Adele was seen last April in the studio working on the new album, but until now there has been no word of when it will see the light of day.
A source told The Sun, “Label bosses are getting very excited and word has spread around the industry like wildfire to expect Adele’s new material imminently.”
It's still not a concrete date, but fans can now get excited about the possibility of hearing some new tunes soon!
Friend and collaborator Ryan Tedder recently opened up about the sound of the new album, hinting that it keeps very much with the style that made the 25-year-old a global star.
What's more, Adele is said to be planning her return to the live stage, with a 2015 tour reportedly in the works.
